Six Ambulance New Brunswick employees receive prestigious award

Six Ambulance New Brunswick employees received the Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal at a ceremony held in Campbellton on December 15th, 2009.
The medal was presented by The Hon. Graydon Nicholas, Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick, on behalf of the Governor General of Canada, The Rt. Hon. Michaëlle Jean.

The recipients are: Yvon Bourque, Julie Sullivan, Sylvain Arseneault, Mario McNeil, John LeBlanc and Kenneth McNaughton.

Created on July 7, 1994, the EMS Exemplary Service Medal recognizes professionals in the provision of pre-hospital emergency medical services to the public, who have performed their duties in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency. Recipients must have completed 20 years of exemplary service, including at least 10 years in the performance of duties involving potential risk.
